Apologies for TMI... Got reeeeeeally uncomfortable bum pain.
Was diagnosed with Crohn's in 2008 but have had very little stomach pain in that time, having other strange symptoms.
Last CT scan shown a significant area of narrowing so I assume I'm on borrowed time with that.
Now, last 6 weeks or so, mostly after eating, I've felt like I have something up my bum & a really bad deep aching pressure up there, even reaching 8/10 on the pain scale. My achilles has been HUGE & I've struggled to walk at times, these pains always correlate.
Was constipated for the first 3 weeks but just normal now; no D, no blood, nothing. Also had migrating joint pain in those 3 weeks.
Had sciatica & low back pain after eating also 🤔

Today the area about an inch above my anus (toward my back) is hurting, it feels sore just below the surface, maybe the tissue inside but not sure? Feels burny & heavy, making me feel a bit sick.
I have no lumps there but something feels different, can't work out what. Maybe more squidgy? Looks ok from what I can see (I have a fat bum so it's difficult, haha). I have no fever & I feel ok, bit of a sore throat (which sweets make 1mil times worse!).
Any thoughts as to what could be going on?
I have specialist on 23rd so trying to hang on til then but I'm pretty miserable xx

Possibility of proctitis, proctalgia or tenesmus ? Just grasping at straws here mind you.If you tap these into the search box at the top of the page (one at a time) threads relating to all three will appear.Welcome to the forum by the way. Please let us know how your appointment goes. We're all interested in each others problems.Feel better soon.

I'm guessing from my own past experience that you might be at the early stage of developing an abscess. If it doesn't settle down very soon, go to the ER and get checked out, the longer it goes untreated the more complex it may become leading to painful fistulas. In my case it lead to a permanent colostomy.

I thought maybe abscess but with no fever & no spot or lump I thought maybe not.
Its definitely intensifying, it's awful tonight & having uncomfortable nerve type pain in my lower back too.
New symptom this eve is a strange burning, stretching pain directly to the right of my belly button, it almost feels like when you stretch a muscle too far, or Chinese burn.
Urgh, just something new every day 😢

Still have a sore bum most days & joints still swollen. I have a gastro appointment in 9 days so I'm hanging on for that - if I get a temp or anything beforehand I'll go hospital xxxx
