Remicade was a godsend for me. It did not heal my fistula, but it keeps me out of the hospital. Since starting remicade, I have been pain-free. I remember a time when I didn't know what that felt like. I look forward to my treatments every 8 weeks and would get them every day if I could. While I am struggling with the problem I still have, I am so thankful that there is a treatment out there that keeps me on my feet.

I'm feeling down because I feel like I've hit a wall with my treatments and just haven't been getting better lately. I just want my body to feel normal again. So I want to believe there's hope out there:) What's your success story? What Crohn's obstacle did you overcome and how did you do it?

I need some hope stat!

There's actually a subforum in the Your Story section called Success Stories found here: http://www.crohnsforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=72

It's all about remission or other such obstacles relating to getting out of flares even to feeling just a little better. There are some people with stories of very long remissions that lasted for years or decades so feel free to check it out.

Unless you wanted to hear about other obstacles that aren't fully about remission.
