Jus had a call today for Kians surgery which is booked for 17th of December!! Close to Christmas but think it's better to have it done sooner rather than later. Talked to Kian about it too and he agrees. Nerves kickin in already and that's me!!!! Eek

Has the GI given any details on the surgery or recovery?

Yes they are removing a part of terminal ileum and also appendix. His surgeon said op will last about 2 hours and he should only be in hospital 3-5days but up to 6 week recovery afterwards. Xx

Hi I'm getting part of my terminal illiem and the bottom bit of my colon in jan feb I'm with u on the nerves part but hopefully it does the trick same goes for your child

Good luck! Please keep us posted. We're thankfully not anywhere near surgery but I do find so much valuable information from those that are willing to share their surgery stories.
