Surgery update

Well the surgery went good. Acording to the surgeon. Was about 3 hr open small bowel resection. Was a mess inside I guess. Had adhesions, scar tissue, abscesses to clean up. He said there was no sign of crohns when he closed. Hopin for the best like last time.

Still getting no food and very little water. Bowels arn't working yet. Just want to pass gas. I've burped. But nothing on the bottom. Still have epidural in. Works pretty good still get shorts or morphine once in a while.

Got epidural, ng tube and catheter out today. Feel so much better. On fluids. Bowels starting to work. Hopefully get food tomorrow and iv probably coming out. Going home Sunday or Monday. Good news

That is great news. I remember how great it was to get those tubes out!
