Just found out today I'm being admitted tonight for an operation - wish me luck. No diagnosis still from biopsies so the surgeons have just decided to cut it out!

Aw thanks everyone! It's great to have the support from people that understand what you are going through.

It's 4:45am here and just woke up in hospital with a cold and blocked nose! Do you think they will still operate today??

Hi I would say that it would depend on the what the doctor thinks he may still do the op. Best wishes n luck. Hugs 💖

Thanks Mandy, had only just about recovered from a previous cold so maybe it was just that lingering as I can breathe a bit easier now. Fingers crossed things still go ahead as I'm all ready to go now.x

Ah i see. I have found that a hospital enviroment can cause colds or cold like symptoms. Crossing my fingers for you . Hope it all goes smoothly. Hugs 💕

Yeah I was wondering the same thing. Well I've let them know so they can decide. I just told the nurse so I would presume they would let the doctor know if they feel it's an issue

Hi so pleased it went well hun. Wishing you better health from now on. Take it ease n rest up. Love n hugs 💕. Please keep us updated on how your doing. ☺

Thanks, still don't have a diagnosis as yet but hopefully now the area has been removed they will know for sure. As the inflammation was confined to one area I avoided a stoma which is great. They did a right hemicolectomy if I've spelt that right...?x

Ok good nice swerve on the stoma.. it looks spelt right to me but im no dictionary lol. Not even sure what that is .. oh that sounds bad for a crohnie 😕 must brush up on my research ....
Keep well hun 💕💕

I have had Crohn's Disease for twenty six years but don't know all the terms.[emoji2]

Well i feel a bit better now Ron iv only had 6/7yrs ish 😕
So many terms n not enough energy to learn them all eh !!💕

I had a right hemicolectomy. Seems to mean any partial removal of intestine; on the right obviously. Maybe you're one of us common Terminal Ileum types.

Glad it went well and hope the recovery is quick.

Update! Hi everyone, I was discharged from hospital Monday evening and I am recovering well at home. Thanks for all your lovely comments. X
