Survived zip lining but,,,

The good news is that with the help of immodium and maybe a shove or two I survived and loved my zip line adventure in Alaska The bad news is that on our last day I took a spill and managed to fracture my left arm in 6 places and shatter my nose. Could have been worse-could have happened on day 1- could have fallen from zip/although unlikely. Iriony is that I was rushing b/c I desperately needed a bathroom.
To all who gave me such great advice before the trip, thank you so much. I'm looking @ a 3 month recoup and another surgery plus learning to type with 1 hand.
I think of you you all and know that this is just a blip in my life.

Hi joan!
A zipline is a cord, about 90 feet above ground, attached to a tree. It usually goes through a rain forest. Ours consisted of 6 trees (you jump off from a platform & go from tree to tree. ) we also had to cross over to a tree via suspension bridge which was over a river and truly beautiful. Exhilarating but not sure i'd do it again considering i had difficulty manuevering a sidewalk. jan

Screaming is the best part! I screamed "HOLY SH*TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!" all the way down. But you are so high up (650 feet at the start) that no one hears you, not even the monkeys. It's quite a release.
