Wow that is pretty nice to be reimbursed! It makes me feel so bad for the people that need to handle the stresses of living somewhere with no public health insurance. In Australia, all of my trips to the doctor and anything that happens in the hospital is covered under Medicare, and my medications roughly cost about 50-60 per month for Azathioprine and Omeprazole. The Modulen IBD is also covered by the PBS and is only 10 dollars per box of 12!
The insurance company's main criteria was that it had to be my son's only source of nutrition for a set amount of time. Had we done EN instead of EEN, it would not have been covered at all.
