So, DD was following her usual routine this weekend. She'd have roughly 3 to 4 loose BMs each day . . . normally in the evening or overnight. Yesterday, we did some driving around . . . errands and such . . . nothing unusual. Out of nowhere, yesterday afternoon DD has a BM that is normal bordering on being a bit constipated. When she wiped, there was blood on the tissue. It just kind of came out of nowhere and within a few hours, she passed another loose BM.

Anyone know what might cause this random hard BM and then go right back to loose?

Constipation
Looser stool leaks around harder mass up high
Pretty typical
Blood on tissue is rectal - typically fissure from hard stool

Also take note of the color. Bright red is new blood ( like fissures) but dark red is older blood from possibly higher up the GI track.
