tingling stomach

i've had this weird tingling stomach feeling for two days now. it seems to start in the afternoon and lasts off and on until i go to bed. it kinda feels like that feeling you get when your arm falls asleep. its just below my belly button. i just cut down another 5mg of pred yesturday. im now at 10mg a day. does this have anything to do with it? has anyone had this feeling? do you know whats causing it? thanks for any help.

It happens to me sometimes. Sometimes I'll even feel that tingling in my face. Usually when it happens in your arms or legs its because of poor circulation so maybe this is the same thing. Other things could cause it such as being low on vitamin B12. I doubt it's the Pred because its such a low does to begin with and you only tapered down recently. It's possible that swelling can cause such a sensation but its only been a day.

And no I don't know what's causing it. I asked my doctor the same thing but since it didn't last long for me, he said that testing for it would be difficult. If it's something that never goes away or increases, then I think you should pursue the issue with your doc but if it goes away, then make a note of it but don't worry about it.
