Tiny amount of blood and mucas no pain, flare?

My stools are regular twice a day no diarrhea whatsever but im getting a small amount of blood like someone took a paintbrush and went down the side, its not even on the toilet paper. I also get a small amount of mucas every now and then. My stomach doesnt really cramp at all and my appitite is fine. Is this a crohns flare? I havent had any problems since 3 years ago when i was hospitlized and found i had crohns. I eat whatever i want and really doesnt bother my stomach. I called my dr. and he said just monitor it. Any help on what this could be would help me out alot.

Are you certain it's blood and not something similar in color that you ate?

yeah im pretty sure its bright red blood its like someone took a paint brush and put a streak down it. sorry for the gross vision

I'm surprised your doctor doesn't want to see you over it. Has it only happened once?

You might want to check your temperature every once in a while to monitor for fevers. Are you taking any medications now?

i take 3 pills of imuran every day. the dr. didnt seem to concerned. i scheduled a colonscopy just to be safe. My temp is normal i had blood work done 2 weeks ago and everything is normal. the blood is in my stool 1 out of 2 times just on the outside edge.

A month? It could be a flare, then. I was thinking hemorrhoids, but it may be a mild flare.
