I have been infused by Remicade 3 times(starting from 11th June, 2015). The situation is getting better day by day. Nothing is coming out from fistula. No blood is found at toilet for a long time(around 2 months).

Just ten minutes ago, at toilet, I suddenly found blood at toilet paper again. I am a little shocked. Does it mean Remicade stopping working or my body is getting to resist Remicade?

If it was just once I wouldn't panic yet. Any chance you ate something red recently? If not I would continue to monitor. If it doesn't happen again I wouldn't be concerned.

I'm curious about what happened; did the bleeding stop? I am getting my third Remicade treatment in 12 days and have noticed pain reappearing around my seton, and a very slight amount of blood on toilet paper. I'm not sure if this means Remicade isn't working? My other symptoms have improved a lot.

Maybe I ate some chilly thing that day. Everything is good and under well control. Remicade create a miracle to me! Best wishes to you too.

My doctor extended my prescription of Flagyl and Cipro for another month which really helped. At first I was feeling sorry for myself because I can't drink alcohol while on these antibiotics, but then she ALSO prescribed Prednisone. I took it home from the pharmacy, looked at all the horror stories on this website but also from personal friends, and decided......I'm pretty happy with the Cipro and Flagyl.....

While prednisone undeniable sucks, if your docs's recommended it I would recommend you take it. It has rather unpleasant side effects I know (I was on it for 8 months) but ultimately it does help and usually rather quickly.
