Triple Immunosuppressed

Currently on 20mg prednisone, 200mg Imuran, and 10mg/kg Remicade. The Imuran and Remicade are both max doses for my weight.

Anybody else with me on this?

Iv been on all three of those at the same time on more than one occassion, though the idea is to taper off pred and be careful of infections as you're at a substantially increased risk being triple immunocompromised, what pred dose did they start you on? Hope you feel better soon.

I was on Pred, 6mp, and humira for a while. As soon as flu season hit, I was the first to go with a temp that was through the roof. Terrible. Luckily tapered off both pills and now just do the injection.

Exposure to the elements sucks but flare ups are worse imo. good luck!

Currently on double - imuran and remicade. I can't say it has been much of a problem. Don't seem to get hit with bad colds and flus. The only thing for me is the occasional gum infection. Some serious recession going on in one area that continually gets reinfected. Eventually going to lose a few molars to it I think.

I was started on 40mg and tapered off of it to 0. CRP jumped up to 70+ and sharp pains came back. Went back up to 40mg, and tapered off more slowly. As soon as I hit about 15mg CRP spiked again and I started to feel terrible again. Right now I'm holding steady at 20mg until we figure out a different way to keep the inflammation in check.
