Hi! My name is Jen and I have been a Crohn's patient for 18 years. I have had 3 bowel resections and 3 fistula repairs. I've been on Remicade, Humira, Methotrexate, 6MP, Cimzia, Pentasa, and lots and lots of Prednisone. Right now I am considering starting Tysabri and was wondering if anyone else had tried it and has some words of wisdom for me? My Gi wanted to put me in a clinical trial for biologic failures but I am not sure if I want to do that. I have been very sympomatic for the past 6 months and have lost 20 pounds. (120 pounds on a 5'10" frame) I need to try something aggressive and have read about Tysabri. I am having the JC test on thursday so I don't even know if I will be able to take the drug or not, just getting some feedback. Also, I am willing to discuss other treatments if anyone wants my experience or advice on any of the things I've tried. Thanks!!
