Hi,

I've been in remission since last August, Yay!! I was put on Azathiorprine, and although I had to come off it as it was lowering my white blood cell count too much, it did put me where I am.

Now I'm not sure what is happening, things have been a bit stressful. My Nan was rushed to hospital with blood clots in her lungs and I have been looking after her since and working. I was very worried while she was in hospital as we are very close and she is the only mother figure I have. I have been having slight stomach pains (occasionally severe) and diarrhoea since then and I'm not sure if I am coming out of remission or not?
If anyone has any idea if I am worrying for nothing or if I need to see my doctor I would really appreciate comments

It could just be from stress... or it could be the start of a flare. It's always so hard to tell with this disease!! It would not hurt to talk to your doctor if you are worried about it.

Yeah, it really doesn't hurt to ask!!! And if you are starting a flare up, if you catch it early maybe it won't get too bad, you know? I really wish I would take my own advice sometimes and just GO TO THE DOCTOR when I know something is wrong!! LOL
