Upper gi series test results back

So I got back my upper gi test results and the found a duodenal ulcer. Ok what exactly is that and why now do they want me to do a upper endoscopy? How many test are they gonna do wow!!!! This is getting crazy!!!

You can eaisly google the duodenal ulcer and find out more about it. Perhaps they want to do the upper endoscopy to be sure it has not gone up further? Not to worry, the test is not bad. Good that doc wants to be thorough! The end is near!

It's possible they want to take biopsies which can't be done through imaging.

That's what I hate is the waiting though it makes me very nervous and I've been through ALOT of test lately it's so exhausting it seems like its one thing after another this summer it's almost like I'm just doing test tell they find something major? Smh but maybe this well finally explain my upper abdoman pains I've been having lately?

I mean I didn't know I had a ulcer until know how do they treat a duodelum ulcer anyways?

They want to do an upper endoscopy so they can biopsy the ulcer to see if it is due to H-pylori. They usually put people on PPI's ( proton pump inhibitors) to treat an ulcer. You can do some natural stuff too. I found that Pine nut oil by Siberian tiger naturals is very helpful. My best friend healed her 3 inch duodenal ulcer with this. The upper scope is easy, I have had like 8 of them in the last 10 years! They knock you out so you wont remember anything. One of the easier tests I have had actually.

I wonder if my Crohn's caused this? Or is it just a thing all to its self? My dr said that it causes inflamation and pain the lower sternum and upper right side of chest also he said gerds and most ulcers are symptoms of the same h-pylori virus. I'm nervous more about the wait on the results than I am about the actual test I'm actually ready for a hour or so nap I'm just tested out this summer Forsure u would think me being a chronie I would be used to it by now.
