Reading,
I just wanted to share my experiences with you guys.
I have pretty much lived with thrush for the last three years. At least once a month it would get really uncomfortable and I would need to take a pill for it or use the cream.
At one point I went to my GP to ask for preventative medication, and I had an allergic reaction to it. That was almost three years ago and I didn't go back again. Since then I was just following all the advice they give you, and using the cream to cool it down whenever I needed it. Obviously this was uncomfortable and horrible to live with but I just dealt with it really.

Anyway, since my operation 3rd Jan, I haven't had thrush once. The only thing I can think changing really is that I have been doing sitz baths daily. So I guess it must be cleaner now or something. I always thought I was clean before, I showered or washed and used wipes but I guess now I am extra clean.

I just wanted to share in case anyone else had troubles or similar experiences.
