Hello Everyone, I just want to heard some feedback regarding my Crohn's disease problem. I started having problems around october 2013, where I used to have a lot of pain after having a BM, I decided to go directly to a colon surgery specialist as I had visited other type of doctors before for similar problems but never got any useful help. I was told that I had fistula around the anus so I got a surgery. I lost weight and after few weeks started to have the same problem, I had a colonscopy and I also had a surgery for the same reason at the same time. The results came out to be Crohn's. I was given 50Mg Azathiprine by my GI, 2 every day. I been taking them for about two months but I still have the same problem but it wasnt until the last 2 weeks were it got from bad to horrible. I have bad problems having a BM, not because I dont have the need but because I have to push very very hard to pass them, not only hard stools but small stools. I am totally desperate right now, the pain of having a bowel movement is like nothing I had experience before. If I dont push very very strong, so strong that at the end I am completelyt sweating and even my penis hurts from the pushing. I had used supppsitories and stof softners but it does not seem to help much. I just want to hear some ideas of how to get better anything from medicine, food, exercise, ways of having a BM, anything please help.
Thank you in advanced

Sounds old school, but I have patients that swear by it: warm prune juice.
There are also Rx strength laxatives you could talk to MD about.
Are you taking narcotics? Those are notorious for causing constipations.

No I am not taking any narcotics, I had thought on taking them to relief the lain but I have not done yet. I am taking antibiotics and Imura at the moment. I would defenetely get some prune juice sometime today. Hope I can see some results.
