Vomiting Bile

Good Afternoon,
So today I have been sluggish, I just threw up a brownish color? I havent eaten anything today only drank water? I also threw up green bile on Sunday. I have a fever of 99.5. I am not sure what is going on, I was at my GI yesterday, and he said that the vomiting I had sunday was food poisoning... he wasnt too concerned.. but I dont know what is going on ? Is this normal?

no it's not normal- with crohn's vomiting can be a symptom but it can also be the sign of an obstruction- saying that, you are going to throw up bile if your stomach is empty cause the bile is just sitting in there....temperatures are signs of infection- i would contact my GI asap. to pass it off as food poisoning when you have a bowel condition is a little bit silly.

Vomiting is a red flag! You said your GI isnt concerned? Does he know you are running a fever as well?

I dont think he understands, I would ring back and explain ALL of your symtoms if you havent already. Do you have an IBD nurse?
