Is it pretty normal that the pain I have changes places and types throughout the day? Sometimes I feel cramping; it moves from lower right side up across the lower belly and back down the laft side; pretty sure that is just the intestines moving stuff through. Then I have acidy-burning; could be anywhere from upper G.I to lower belly. And then there is the tearing pain; feels like ripping a giant bandage off inside. Oh, yes, let's not forget the stabbing that feels like a knife going thru my belly button up into my gall bladder or stomach. The stabbing doesn't last more than about 45 minutes, but the other pains can last longer...The burning pain can last days, the tearing only lasts an hour or so.

Am I a "normal" IBD-C patient? haha

Not sure, when the issue originates from a certain spot but the actual pain is felt in another spot, it's called "referred pain". What you are describing, different types of pain, and slightly different places, might have to do with referred pain and the fact that the intestine can be inflamed in a number of spots.
