Hopefully someone can talk me out of worrying about this, or tell me if I need to worry more.

Been on 6MP for about two years and am about to go for my fourth remicade. Throughout this whole thing I have been super SUPER paranoid about the lymphoma warnings and have been paying close attention to things that could herald it.

Graphic talk of poop incoming:

Let me rewind to Saturday. I had basically my first solid BM in a year, but it was very light colored. It was immediately followed by a watery ORANGE one. Like, carrot orange but I have not been eating anything that could give me that color.

It made me start looking more closely at my regular ones, which I notice now are kinda yellow, but I never really noticed before and it could have been like that for a long time and I didn't notice because they were basically all liquid.

I contacted my doctor, he basically told me not to worry about it.

Then tuesday morning, I was sitting at the kitchen table and happened to lean forward against the edge of it. It HURT. I touched the area and found that a big spot just to the left of my sternum was super SUPER tender. My immediate thought was "oh ****," and then I was like, "well lets see if it goes away."

Its Wednesday night, it has not gone away.

I started checking around for other signs, eg weird lumps and such, and found that one armpit, while there is no lump in it, has really really darkened skin. I don't know if that's normal or what but all this together has me whipped into a reasonable approximation of panic.

Any thoughts here? What should I do?

Have you contacted your GI about the tender spot below your sternum? While on remicade you should be getting regular blood work which helps discern if any problems have arisen.

Nothing you've mentioned screams lymphoma. A call into your GI nurse may allay your anxiety. Keeping a journal of your bms may give you some idea of what your normal is.

I hope you find relief soon.
