Hi Everyone!
Well, as i'm sure it shows, i'm new here! I was recently diagnosed with Crohn's in January of this year. It's been quite an interesting adventure poo but i'm dealing with it on a daily basis. Being diagnosed really explained a lot of situations in my past that I could never explain.
I thankfully have a great doctor, and i'm lucky enough (for now) to have a mild case where I can control it with diet and exercise. Recently, I started taking the supplement "Green Vibrance" which has worked absolute wonders for me. Not sure if anyone else has tried it, but if you haven't I would definitely recommend it. Also, i've run three 5k's this year, and i'm looking to train for a half marathon (although a nice flare up at mile 2.5 of my last race kind of set me back mentally a few weeks).
My best friend in High School had Crohn's; however, her case was much more severe. That's how I first knew about it. I read many stories about people dealing with the disease on a daily basis, and it inspires me to still be strong. Some days are better than others, but I do my best.
Anyway, i'd love to talk with everyone else on here, and share my knowledge as well as my support for anyone with this disease. I believe in always being a supporter and encourager, and together we'll make it through whatever life throws our way.
Thanks, everyone!
