Well bearing in mind that my two achieved remission via surgery, I would have to say for them it was pain associated with perforation and abscess.

Not really sure. He is considered in remission but is still tired often and has the remains of the fistula.
 
:hug: Just pure curiosity. I guess I wanted something to look forward too.:rosette2:
Although I will happily say that the GI side of things is getting better faster compared to the JRA side of things.

That has definitely been our experience! Scopes look good, joints look pretty bad still, but hoping that will change soon!

From what I have heard from many people that seems to be the way it goes. GI improves first and then even once in remission joints can still act up. That has been our experience. Cailtyns GI issues cleared up totally (until the gastroparesis :()but she still has joint pain on and off. For her the joint pain really seems to flare is when Aunt Flo comes to visit.
