I always have diarrhea... but when you have a flare, does anyone get their diarrhea to be almost like water when it comes out... usually my D is very liquidy, but the past 4 days it's been colored water (not even trying to make itself into anything)... does this happen to anyone? is that normal in a flare? is that how you can tell if your ulcers came back? and I have mucous that came after the colored water (orange ish).

Sorry its kinda gross to read :(

Just was wondering if that's what most people experience. thank you <3

I had that when I was flaring really bad. It feels like you are peeing from your butt, no? It was also mized with mucus for me. That was just awful, I'm so sorry your going through that :( Going in public bathrooms was excruciatingly embarrassing. Most people have never had literal butt pee like that so I bet it sounded really weird. Anyway, to answer your question, yes I had that when I was flaring last winter.
Feel betterrrr:hug:

I've been having that a lot lately. And I described it the same way. It's just like peeing from your butt! I also have the mucous along with it. I had biopsy of terminal ileum today. GI said everything looked good but will have to wait on bx results. Not sure what I want to hear. I hope I dont have crohns but I want to know why this keeps happening!

I have had this happen to me when my stomach gets upset with something I ate. Then liquid just flies thru me the next day. Its only happened about three times. Really weird. No cramping either. Its like a washout for a day.

Hey everyone, just was diagnosed on Saturday morning at the hospital. just got out of the hospital today.. what a long few days that was... :( turned out that it was a flare afterall. an awful one... all my blood levels in the blood work were all dangerously low and had to have nutrition IV and steroids to help the flare. Glad that's over with, but now i have to adjust to all the meds and lifestyle changes and avoid trigger foods.
Big adjustment, but God wouldn't give us something we could not handle.

I don't think anybody on here gets grossed out by poop talk anymore

I get very liquidy stool when I'm sick, don't think that's all that abnormal. I also get a lot of mucous stuff as well but I get that all the time now, flare or not. I also get a ton of blood when I flare which makes for one hell of a sight...

I regularly get butt pee when I'm flaring. And I agree with crazy canuk, we don't get grossed out by poop talk. If it happens excessively, you should call your doc, as it can lead to dehydration. I usually only have it for a day or so before returning to watery diarrhea and then back again. I also advise when you have butt pee, you should use wet wipes to keep your bum from getting sore.
