When to call the GI?

I have been going to the bathroom a lot lately. I was on the phone with a nurse who checks on me ocassionally. She had me promise her that I would call my GI if my symptoms got worse. This evening, I noticed a slight bit if blood in one of my bms. Should I call my doctor?

Yes you should. Better safe than sorry. I always think that then it's time to call GI when i start to think that should i call. If that makes any sense. Lol

It wouldn't hurt. The worst they can say is to keep a watch on it. For me, blood's just part of my Proctitis flares. But, if I remember right for you it's a little different. Please keep us updated on how you're doing Ron.

I never hesitate to call my GI. If I were you, I would call.
