where are all the kiwis

15 thousand people in new zealand diagnosed with crohns, we have the highest percentage in the world, why? would love to know. any ideas?
and where are they, only 17 kiwis on here.

hi Ethan i wouldnt know where to look, i saw it on the news the other nite. must be able to google it.

ED, from what I have read Canada has one of the highest incidence of Crohns per capita. I am sure I will be proven wrong otherwise.

Hey Trev

We had that chron's awareness thing that seemed to make the national papers and news, eh? I sort of missed it. I have no idea why it is so high here. In my group of girlfriends one of their daughters has it, another her son has it - it seems strange. Just about every person I meet knows someone who has chrons. Have you got any ideas - maybe too much 1080 being sprayed?

hi Trev! just been diagnosed myself this year, read alot of useful info here! but never registered until i saw ya asking where the kiwis are :)

Hi Bogalo, would you like to add a little something about yourself in, "My Story" so that we can welcome you properly xx

Hey Daisy
How is Wellington? Did you get snow on the Rimutaka's yesterday? I used to live in the Lower Hutt, then Western Hills, then Boganville in Birchville Upper Hutt. I love wild weather but I do not miss the cold cold southerlies and the wind that you can hardly stand up in.

Hey Aura
Sorry not sure if there was some snow fall on the Rimutakas yesterday but it sure felt like it, it was like 7.5 degrees yesterday and yes the wonderful Southerly was blowing so beanie and gloves and several layers of clothes were in order. Are you missing Welly now?

Hi Daisy
Sweet Lordy I am not missing that cold wind at all. We had a frost but that was all, nice calm blue sky day, I am liking the Bay of Plenty

Are all our Kiwis OK following the earthquake???

Thinking about you all and hoping more than anything that you are safe and your family and friends are also safe.
