WHY wont my pill digest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I take a pill called Levbid because I have ibs also I think? But it always comes out whole.

Hi Mary - here is one thought about your undigested pills.

It could be that your system is moving so fast that it doesn't get the chance to break the pill down, look and see if there is a chewable version of this med, also check with your pharmacy and see if they can make a liquid form of Levbid for you. A lot of pill medication can actually be turned into liquid form and also flavored. Or while taking Levbid try taking Immodium or equivalent with it. The Immodium may help slow your insides down just long enough to help break the pill down and make it digestable so it actually gets absorbed into your system the way it should.

I have had this problem too..... I get frustrated. I pay for the meds (not cheep by the way) and then their they are floating and looking up at me....UGHHHHHHH I think Colette and Stephie have a good idea. I might try that.

Is this pill a capsule? Sometimes the capsule shell comes out, but the meds that were inside were released into the body. So, you might still be getting the meds you took.
