Seattle,
I've been waking up at 6 AM after sleeping all night on the dot totally wired before even take any medicine Wondering if I was feeling so bad I'm was tired not knowing I had Crohn's that this is more normal for a person I'm definitely sleeping better and I'm doing some exercise but I'm just wondering because it seems like there's a lot of people out there that have fatigue anybody else full of energy this is before I take any meds in the morning or is this unusual and I should expect this to not continue. You would not believe how clean and organized my house is right now 😜

I used to get like that after my Remicade infusions, but now it has the opposite effect.

Interesting I think I going to start keeping a journal it kind of wild ride up or down I have not found my in between yet
Thank you for the feedback Tuff

Hi soohie, well all I can say is when on meds for my Crohn's I was up and down at times, now since coming off them after an ileostomy, then a reversal, iv been far more tired. So ye keep a check on it and if need be see your doc as you may need to change some meds...best wishes

Soohie, what meds are you on? If the answer is prednisone, then yes, that's pretty normal. I also was wired 24/7 and I also cleaned my house and took 8 boxes of junk to goodwill when I was on pred! It gave me crazy amounts of energy, I was pretty much bouncing off the walls.

Yes I am on Predinsone I am tapering now 2 pills for 10 days and then 1 for 10 days
I started remicade last week
I don't like it I know it a bit of necessary evils but it so strong
I am having a lot joint pain and it helps with that I was diagnosed three weeks ago so maybe take while to figure things out
Still trying different foods as well trying to find out what will work best for me
Thank you for your input and replies I am a newbie

I don't take persidone until after I eat about a hour later I sleep fine no prob there
