Wormwood As Possible Help?

I know this was talked about long ago on here, but I found a place that sells wormwood in a 1:5 extract form. The company's called Herb Pharm, if anyone wants to give Wormwood a shot. It comes in a dropper bottle. If you do, put it in something other than water because it's nasty bitter. I've only been using it for the past 3 days so I can't really report anything.

Hey Dan... Good to hear from you. Hope all is well... What if you mixed it in with Absinthe? I mean, it used to have it as an ingredient. Some tell me some still does.

All good here. Writing my backside off and trying to keep focused.

I've heard there's places in Europe where you can buy the real stuff (absinthe). You can even order it delivered here, provided you take all responsibility if it gets confiscated before you get it. The 1:5 Wormwood is good for the Crohn's part from what I've read, but it's probably nowhere near the amount that's in the absinthe. I haven't had any weird visions or insight taking it yet, but it's still early and I'm not taking much. We'll see. If I start writing like Poe or Lovecraft because of dreams that just won't leave my head I'll know the cause.

Rootbeer doesn't work bad in covering up the bitter taste.

Didn't Sommerset Maugham imbibe too? And I heard (tho ain't bothered to check) that I can get absinthe w wormwood at a local specialty wine shop in Halifax. Apparently they import just about every form of alcohol under the sun..

No doubt about that. It's poisonous in high doses. It's safe in the recommended dosage on the bottle in the 1:5 ratio and I'm using the lessor of the dose, about 15 drops once a day in liquid. It says you can take up to 10-20 drops 1-3 times a day and definitely not for women who are pregnant.

I'm basically trying to split my time between writing 4 scripts, a novel, a kid's story for my little girl, my garden and yard work. I had two teeth out recently and bled for around 4 hours or more so I had to go get a liquid iron supplement. I'm most likely borderline anemic again, if not full blown anemic. Need to keep my energy and focus levels up.

Hmmm, careful with that... Next thing you know she'll be requesting you tell her nothing but whoppers. After that, little white lies won't ever be tolerated.

And speaking of Pinochio, does anyone know why he got into a big fight with his father AFTER he went thru puberty? Well, did you ever try to fit a square peg in a round hole?
