I'm in the process of getting a diagnosis and Crohn's is a possibility. I just switched to a new GI doctor about 3 weeks ago after seeing another doctor for over a year and him saying it was IBS. When I saw the new GI doc she asked if I had any mouth sores. At the time, I didn't. About a week ago, I developed one and it is getting bigger and is pretty painful. I am due to see her in a week. My husband thinks I should email her and let her know about the sore. Do you think I should or wait until I see her? The sore is whitish/yellow and indented with red around it.

Yes, call your doctor and let her know. I agree with marjaw, even if its just for peace of mind. I also document everything with my daughter (pain, sores, food).

Thanks..I will send her an email. Because I'm not diagnosed yet I hate feeling like I am bothering her or like I am a "baby" :ytongue:

I tried taking a picture and it didn't come out great since it is so far back in my mouth, just looks like a hole but doesn't show how red it is. I did send her an email and she said thanks for letting her know and we will go over all of my test results next Friday when I see her.
