Well, I saw my GI on Friday for my 4 month post surgery checkup. Good news is that I'm feeling great, bad news is that I'm back on Crohn's meds again until I have my surgery to remove my rectum. So, back to 3000mg a day of Salofalk. I guess it's better to be safe rather than sorry And I have to have a colonoscopy in July...that will be interesting! I'll have to post what it's like to have a scope through Oscar's head...lol
But, the best news is that I'm not on the Coumadin anymore!! Yay!!! No more bloodwork twice a week....my doctor saw the meds weren't going to level out my INR so she said 'screw it' and took me off the bloodthinners Woohoo!!!
All in all, not a bad appointment. Now to get that referral for my next surgery...sigh...
