I first need to apologize, as I do not have a history or have been diagnosed with crohns or IBD.
I do have quite the complicates history of other medical issues including addison's.
Over the weekend I had a 5 hour episode of excruciating pain. The pain was due to waves of gas pains while I was extremely constipated. I never went to the hospital or seemed medical attention which I now know was wrong and a bad mistake. They were the worst pains I've ever experienced.
Afterwards, I did some research, and I realized I had an obstructed intestine.
Well... It's been 4 days later and absolutely no signs of an infection. However, I am extremely sore in my lower front extremities. It almost feels like I have torn something or something see is wrong. My bm's seem a little different but nothing too drastic and I am eating fine with no other symptoms. Just extreme pain.
My question is... Could an obstructed intestine cause a hernia? If not, what else could it be?
