Zopiclone / Imovane / Zimovane & Lunesta

Anyone on these drugs? Do they help with your sleeping?

zopiclone and immovane are the same thing, i guess maybe zimmovane may be as well? I use zopiclone occasionally (i'm a shift worker) and find it really good, I get a nice restful sleep and wake up feeling refreshed, no groggy hangover. I also make sure I have a supply when I'm on prednisone :thumleft:

I use zopiclone once in awhile as well. I was first prescribed it during those wonderful first few months after my husband left as I couldn't stop crying long enough to sleep. I still use it occaisionally but since I am really sensitive to things that make you drowsy I can only take half a pill, must take it early in the evening or I haven't slept it off enough to drive in the morning. So I basically suck it up all week since I work at 4 am, then take it Friday night if its been a bad week.

Doc, I've tried zopiclone, which didn't agree with me... Sure, I slept all night, but I apparently slept-walked and slept-ate an entire box of ice cream! So, I don't take it anymore, and use some other 'smokable medicine' if I have trouble sleeping. If I'm going to eat an entire box of ice cream, I want to be awake to enjoy it!

I have used ambien (Zolpidem?) on and off...no wierd side effects.....

Zolpidem (aka Ambien, Stilnox, Sublinox) is not the same as Zopiclone (aka Imovane, Zimovane, Lunesta).

7.5mg did nothing.. so now im trying 7.5mg x 2 = 15mg, prescribed by my gastroenterologist.

wondering if this has any interactions w other meds like azathioprine?
