That ESR is rather concerning to me.

    Switching from humira to stelera

There can be a spike of inflammation (higher than your baseline Crohn's) after stopping biologics as your immune system goes back to normal function and either has some buildup of things to deal with or simply overshoots. I've seen it last for a couple of weeks. Stelara can start taking effect...

Some other points: Regarding #2/5, keep in mind that biologics have a substantial rate of no longer working as time goes on. This should always be kept in mind when considering the retrial statistics--there's, for example, a 30% chance that it wouldn't have been working at the time of the...

You don't need to just take my word for it (although of course you should). The most important parts of this have been tested: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35390140/ Children who switched to stelara after skin reactions had better ourcomes.

Stelara is just as effective as Humira at keeping Crohn's inflammation down, and it has the benefit of being substantially safer. If you're already dealing with a bad side effect from the Humira, I don't see why you wouldn't want to try Stelara instead. Most people are able to restart Humira if...

P.Anca positive blood test (UC or Crohn's Disease) ?

Remicade can cause a positive anca and autoimmune problems, eg: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23265134/

Dr. Borody is an advocate of the MAP theory, and he's published some papers describing some very good results he's had with Crohn's patients, including in kids. That said, personally I think MAP is only a minor part of the whole picture of Crohn's causation, and I would recommend keeping an...

One easy solution everyone should know about for needle pain: Get some 4% lidocaine cream, available otc at any drug store. Apply a dollop and cover with plastic wrap at least 30 minutes and preferably 1-2 hours before the needle. Wipe off and do the needle as normal. The area should be totally...

Oh, since you're in Australia you should really try to get into the Centre for Digestive Diseases to see if they can help: https://centrefordigestivediseases.com/

Sounds awful. I would be worried about azathioprine in a young boy due to cancer risk. Have the doctors discussed trying remicade, humira, or stelara? Are they quite sure it's Crohn's and not something else, possibly some infection? Antibiotics can be helpful sometimes for Crohn's, too. One of...

    Antifungals and Crohn's

Does anyone have any experience with antifungals on Crohn's? It seems like a somewhat promising area of research, but I don't think I've seen anything from any patients. I guess very few people have tried this out. There's some evidence that Malassezia fungus may be involved in Crohn's. See...

Intestinal ultrasound sounds like a great monitoring option, and I wish it were commonly available. It should have many of the advantages of MRI while being cheaper and easier to get access to.

That CRP and sed rate is still very concerning.

    Is this a logical routine?

I can't comment on most of these, but the list is simply too long. I don't think it's healthy to have large numbers of supplements even if each individually seems ok. I can tell you that s. Boulardii seemed to worsen Crohn's symptoms for my son.

    So do I have Crohn’s?

This is definitely all consistent with Crohn's.

    Sore throat ugh….

My son had sore throats and pain in the chest when swallowing at the ends of remicade cycles. This kind of recurring sore throat could be related to the Remicade.

    trying my best

Crohn's is often not an easy thing to get under control. You're new to this, and it's going to take a while to figure it all out. I remember being 19 and having absolutely no clue about how to deal with the medical system. Fortunately you can ask questions here even if you don't have anyone irl...

    Treatment still not working

By the way, I would suggest at least 8 weeks of EEN (maybe more) after surgery to help the intestines heal, and I don't know why they don't suggest that to patients. Good post-surgery healing is critical.
