    Pentasa should i take it

Why was I harsh, lets see.... You ask if you should take it, and everyone is saying yes, but you are sitting there repeatedly saying I don't think I should. You won't listen to people stating that this disease isn't one to mess around with. Seriously, it's not. But then in the next breath you...

    Post surgery issues!!!

I agree, wondering if they are missing something. I would personally go to my family doc so bloodwork and such can be done in case he has really low levels of something. Sending many ((((hugs)))) hope you have answers soon

    Post surgery issues!!!

He has been through quite a lot! I am sorry to hear he isn't bouncing back as fast as you guys would like, but sometimes it takes time. Everyone is different. Have you mentioned your concerns to his GI? How long ago was his surgery?

    Pentasa should i take it

Denial will not make it disappear. If you have a partial blockage, you have a chance for a full blockage. You say you have a disabled partner you take care of. If you continue to deny your disease, who will take care of your partner if you have a full blockage? You say you refuse to read about...

First Remicade infusion in the AM. Excited and nervous all at the same time. Afraid it won't work and I will have to wait to get something that will.

Very minor small ulcers on my small intestine?

I had all the same symptoms, except the chest pain/heartburn part. Though I did have them when my gallbladder went (wasn't stones, very inflamed and swollen though). Hope you feel better soon. The steroids made a world of difference for me :)

    Medicines - please help

I would double check with your pharmacist. Just make sure your cold meds don't have ibuprofen or naproxen in them. Those are NSAIDS and could make your tummy troubles worse

    Planning on using MDMA

Way too high of a chance of the pill being contaminated with something weird, or something that may make you worse. It's an amphetamine, which is already hard for your body to process/digest. Plus the dry mouth you get, will result in you drinking more liquid. Not sure if diarrhea is one of your...

What is most important in cannabis for crohn's? THC or CBD?

Check out leafly.com. You can input your disease and symptoms, and you can find a strain that will work. From there it's a matter of experimentation on which strain works the best. THC helps with pain, CBD with inflammation. The higher CBD will help slow your digestive tract and get to work on...

Sticky Medical Marijuana for Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis

Yes, you do have to heat it. I usually put into a glass jar, put some water in the bottom of my slow cooker and then cook on high for 8-10 hours. I then filter out the plant material. :)

    Frustrated, confused, and worried (rant)

My family doc said he recently read an article, that it takes on average, 5 years from first symptoms to diagnosis. Took me 2.5 years from when my symptoms started to finally get my diagnosis. It really sucks, especially when no one takes you seriously, and treat you like all you want is drugs...

How soon can symptoms be back when starting to taper?

My taper started on Sat, woke up this morning in lots of pain. I haven't felt this crappy in a few weeks. Is it because I am starting my taper? Went from 9mg to 6 mg. I am miserable today, and ready to cry. Can't wait until I start Remicade, I sure hope it helps!

    Canadian disability tax credit..

I am not looking for the monthly disability payment, I'm talking about the tax credit at income tax time. It's about 2k a year or so, supposed to be a help for having to travel to specialists, paying copays, etc. Incidentals that can add up in a year

    What's going on with me

Defintiely talk to your GI if you are still experiencing pain on Remicade. They may have to increase your frequency of infusions and/or the amount you recieve. I feel your pain, I have been in a flare now for 2 years. I will be starting Remicade myself in the next couple of weeks
