    Having a hysterectomy!

I had a hysterectomy in January 2011 due to having extremely painful periods. I was told this was due to having endometriosis. Well when the OB/GYN removed everything he didn't find any sign of endometriosis. I felt fantastic for about 2 years. Not having to dread that week a month when I would...

    Using vapourised MM

There is still cannbinoids in the vaped weed, even though the THC is gone. We have many CB receptors in our gut, so making edibles out of the vaped weed will send CB's right to your digestive tract where you want it to go. :D

Sticky Medical Marijuana for Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis

I decarbed my kief, and put it in some coconut oil and cooked it for about 5 hours. I just took a little bit, and woah! Hit me like a truck, but the pain is very low. Will try some in my morning tea, hope it can replace the T4's I have to take in the AM

Sticky Medical Marijuana for Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis

I made some paste for a friend last night. Ground the bud up really good and put into coconut oil, in a water bath in my crockpot overnight. Seems super easy, may make some for myself. I have a bunch of kief and may decarb and use that :)

Saw new GI, has me starting amitrypltaline

Met with my new GI yesterday. She listened to all my symptoms. She doesn't think it's crohns, but does want to rule it out. She has me starting Amitryptaline (sp?) and will be going in for an Endoscopy and a colonoscopy on July 14th. She said if that doesn't show anything, the next step would be...

    Orchid's Intersex Expedition

Suprisingly my dog isn't yappy :) She will bark once or twice when someone is at the door, but once she greets the person, she is fine. People are really suprised at how quiet she is, but she was trained to not bark her head off all the time :D

    Oral contraceptive and Crohn meds

The coil? Is that like an IUD? As a side note, if you are on the pill and are taking antibiotics, make sure you use backup birth control. Antibiotics will make the pill less effective

    Colonoscopys and Sedation

I too had twilight sedation. I kinda remember seeing the screen at one point, but other than that, I remember nothing, lol. Wasn't anything like being put completely under. I was wide awake and alert 10 mins after the procedure

    Just so scared right now.

    Orchid's Intersex Expedition

That is awesome Orchid! I would say it kinda helps that you can let your true self out :D I have a friend that is FTM Trans, and once the hormones kicked in and he was growing facial hair and getting more male attributes, he really came out of his shell. I have unfortunately lost touch with him...

    Ibs vs Ibd

I had no idea night sweats could be attributed to IBD. I wake up at least once every night absolutely soaked in sweat :( I am also woken up to use the bathroom, anywhere between 3:30 and 5:30 am :(

    Whole Body Itchiness

I was in the same boat as you! I was itchy everywhere for about a week. Did go away on it's own, thankfully. Same thing, no rash or hives to speak of, and I'm currently undiagnosed so not on any heavy duty meds yet
