aches and pains

hi guys i just signed up to this forum and would like to no some peoples personal experiences. I have suddenly last few days got sches and sensitive to touch areas on my body is this to do with meds? im not sure i am on meds such as pentasa and predniscolone and anti sickness which seems to be controlling my crohns as best as it can be at the minute i have not once been in remission and ive had crohns for a year eekk

Hi Chelsey and welcome to the family. I'm sorry that you've gone for so long without any comfort. It's possible that the meds are causing this new problem, but there could be other things causing it, too. Have you told your doc yet? It would be a good idea to get your vitamin levels checked, if you haven't done so recently. Being deficient in vitamins can do a number on our bodies. :hug: I'm glad you joined us and I hope you feel better soon. :hug:

Welcome, Chelsey. I am sorry you haven't achieved remission. Finding the right treatment can be really tricky. What works for some, won't work for others.

If you don't feel your current treatment is doing its job, you should reach out to your GI. Perhaps a new cocktail is in order.

I'm sorry you're having some trouble right now! What you're experiencing MAY be related to the Crohn's Disease. Are you taking any supplements by chance? Have the doctors been keeping an eye on your vitamin and mineral levels?
