Am I passing food too quickly?

Hey guys. This does not happen all the time but it just happened again and I noticed it.
Last night I had some chicken and cooked spinach (very well cooked). This was at arounf 9:30pm. I finally went out with friends after a long while and had about 2 glasses of wine.
This morning I had a BM and I saw some of the spinach I ate last night. (Even before diagnosis greens were always a hit or miss). Sometimes the stool is just green but sometimes I'll see a little (or alot) of undigested spinach in there.
My BM was at around 11am. So figure about 13 hours transit time. Isnt that too quick?

I wouldn't say that is unusual. Maybe a little quicker than normal, but normal is different for everyone. Are you flaring at all? I am near remission and my transit time is currently about 14-16 hrs. When I am having a really bad flare, my transit time can be just a few hours (I'm talking mushrooms here, I ate them and then poof! there they were, less than 3 hrs after I ate them!!)

Oh yeah - when I had bad flares, I could literally go an hour after eating and see my mostly undigested food.....

Lettuce still sometimes passes quickly - what I ate the night before shows up in the morning....I don't worry about that.....

Ha, I had some things go thru like an hour later! Funny how some foods by pass others and come out whole. Spinach is in the green's family and of course wont digest. Wait til you ever have a resection, sometimes you dont make it to the bathroom!:eek2: .

I never eat risky stuff if I am going somewhere the next day or so.

I've also had food pass within an hour or two...mostly it's 8-10 hours after. When I eat lettuce, I can see it quite clearly. And if I eat tomatos, or peppers with skins, I can see the skins as well. It's funny, you can kind of judge food your body doesn't tolerate well by how clearly they show up in your poo.
