Another fistula question

I had a barium enema test done because my doc thought I may have a fistula between my rectum and vagina. I read the radiologist report and it says no fistula between colon and vagina? Is that the same thing? I see my doc on 11th but wanted to ask before. Thanks.

That is probably the same thing or very similar as the colon goes down into the rectum. If it had shown a fistula anywhere it would have said so probably good news!

It sounds like the same thing to me.
I have one, but my gyno nor my GI have seen it. It's teeny tiny. They said if I have the symptoms that belong with it, then it's there.
Are you leaking air out your vagina? Have you seen any stool up front? I don't think there is a better test than that.

I'm so glad to hear they are the same thing. I was afraid that I had that horrible test and they didnt look in the right spot. I had it done because I am having a lot of things come out of my rectum that should only come out of my vagina (tmi) but not so much the other way.
