antibiotics?

So everyone in my dorm seems to be getting this intense strain of Strep Throat, and I was wondering, since I haven't been terribly ill with the flu or anything like that since I was diagnosed, does that upset your Crohn's? I know sometimes the antibiotics can interfere with the disease somehow, but i was wondering is it something to be concerned about?

If you are on prednisone or any of the immunosupressants, you are more susceptible to getting an infection, and then once you have one it will be harder to get over. I'm not sure about antibiotics "interfering with the disease" though.

I know the antibiotics kill the bacteria in your body.- The good bacteria and the bad bacteria.
After you are done with the antibiotics you need to replenish your good bacteria or healthy flora.
It allows for your gut to get back to normal faster.

Some antibiotics are harder on your gut than others, though.
