Hello everyone.
I have been in the hospital for the past 10 days trying to get my UC flare under control. I had my first Remicade infusion while in the hospital this past Friday. I have had no negative side effects that I could tell so far which I am really tankful for it no real improvement either. I am also currently on 40 mg prednisone which I take in the morning, but come around 3 am, it's like the effects run out and I start having bleeding and cramps again. My doc now wants to push my next remicade infusion for this coming Friday, which is only 1 week after the initial infusion instead of the normal 2 weeks.
So I'm just wondering if anybody else had their first 2 infusions this close together wit positive/negative results?
Any input is much appreciated.
