So I had surgery about 2 months ago for a sub- total colectomy and I am left with a stump that is currently flaring. I started on asacol foam enema's yesterday ( twice a day) and I am able hold them in okay ( which is getting easier).
However when I go to pee several hours later some of the foam comes out.(tmi!) yesterday it was mixed with a bit of blood which I am used to however today I noticed it was brown! A cloudy ashy medium brown with no trace of red what so ever ( I thought it could have been old blood?) so I'm just a bit worried as as far as I am aware nothing brown some be coming out of my stump anymore. Has anyone else experienced this? Or should it be something I mention to my doctors?
