Bumps under skin - any ideas what they are?

I have Crohn's and have been diagnosed for about 10 years. For about 6 years I have been taking Remicade and it is the only natural or pharmaceutical drug that has worked.

They called to renew my prescription today and asked if I have any bumps. I have had a few small (maybe 2 centimeters) bumps in 2-3 places on my arms. They are scheduling an appointment with my specialist. The bumps are not itchy, they are under the skin but have no color to them (they are the same color as my skin). Any ideas on what this is?

Thanks!

Thank you both for the quick responses. They do not hurt at all. They are firm to touch and do not move when touched (maybe slightly roll or move, but almost negligible).

Thanks!

I'm not too sure. I had bumps that were called eurythia neurdosm, sorry for bad spelling. But these were sore to touch, big, and had colour.

A blood clot under the veins closest to the skin. They just feel likee a bump under the skin. Most of the time they are harmless. You dont need a doctor to fix it. Just google superficial thrombosis.

Possible cysts
They can form anywhere some are harmless some are not
Glad the doc is seeing you
Are you seeing a dermotologist about it?

Odd..

I had my first treatment of remicade last week and I am noticing these bumps, too. Right now on my fourth finger. Doesn't hurt unless I have my finger pressed up against something and I have to bang it down... like a stamp I have at work and when I sort of jokingly slapped the back of a chair. Outside of that, they don't hurt.

I have my next treatment on Monday afternoon. I was gonna show it to the nurse.

I have lumps like those mentioned that appear for s day or two and then disappear. They can sometimes be painful, much like a bruise would feel. The worst is when it affects a finger or toe- they can only swell so much! Sometimes red, often no discoloration. Doc said it is Erythema Nodosum that is displaying in a milder manner. One of the lumps made my arm look like I had a second elbow point! I, too, am on Remicade (10 mg/ 8 weeks) and Imuran (100 mg/day). I also take Celebrex daily. Doc told me to add two Aleve to my morning regimen and it should help with pain. So far it hasn't...after two weeks of use.

Psoriasis became an issue with me maybe 15 years ago when I was still on Pentasa. I'd get patches of discolored son that itched and sometimes hurt. After switching to Humira about four years ago I began to get sores that started as bumps under the skin. Then they'd start to hurt, turn into a puss filled blister and eventually pop. I'd sometimes get them under my arms and around my crotch, but they showed up anywhere.
