ok. what the hell. how do you even explain this to your doctor. as if its not embarassing enough that hes been up my butt 6 times, seen me **** myself lets just add to the awkwardness! i was previously in the er for a uti/yeast infection which im in the process of finding out why i get so many of them and my xray showed i had stool stuck in my colon. yesterday i had horrible stomach pains until i cleaned myself out competely and its never been like that before. now i have these weird pains in my bottom like its freaking out or something. its really instense stabbing pain, then goes away a few seconds, then comes back.. am i suppose to call my dr and be like 'hey..my butthole is freaking out..' ohhh jeezeeee. this is neverending!:ytongue:

Just tell him you are having rectal spasms? Do you have any antispasmodics? Maybe they would help. I complained of rectal pain and my doc gave me Librax. Mine were so few and far between, though, that I could never really use it for that (couldn't get the timing right) so I can't tell you if it works or not, but that's what he prescribed me.

I get these every now and then, and so does my wife. I am not sure if it is related to any of the other problems you were having. If these spasms are happening daily you might want to have it checked out, if it is once or twice a week, probably not a big deal.

I get them too. I think they might be something to do with the fistula. Yea, you are right, the permutations of this disease are endless!! Hope you get your test results and a solution to the problems soon. x

I get them too. For me it is just one symptom related to rectal inflamation and now I am taking cortizone suppositories - not sure if that is what is causing it for you. I think the condition is called proctitis and it can be caused by crohns - http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/proctitis/DS00705
