Chest pain... :/

Hi everyone,
Im new to this but just wanted to share my worries i guess...

So ive been diagnosed with crohns since last year but in and out of hospital for 12 years with various problems.
For the last few weeks I have been throwing up when I flare and this has never happened before but I thought nothing of it but along with that every morning i now get a pain in my throat and diaphragm kind of area which lasts for about an hour...
I put it to the back of my mind and just got on with things and have been having the same morning routine for about 3 weeks now with this pain :/
But then 3 nights ago i got this bad pain across my chest it passed aftet about 20 mins so i forgot about i then it happened again last night...
Is there a chance maybe the crohns is now affecting my oesophogus area has anyone else had this kind of thing before?!

It's usually bloating / heartburn but never take risks with chest pain, talk to your doctor. Crohn's bloating can put pressure on the lungs and heart and it can actually be dangerous if left unchecked. It's a sign that you're not responding well to treatment.

Are your eating anything in particular at night or in the morning before you get these symptoms? Mine was always triggered by a food.

Thank you so much for your reply if im honest I dont know much about crohns and i have it :/ lol

No i havent been able to put it down to any food or drink its just when ive been awake for about 20mins

The only time I have gotten a chest pain it was heartburn. I agree, tell the doctor just in case it's something else that might need attention.

Have booked doctors appointment in an hour so hopefully all is ok

Back from the doctors they have given me Omeprazole and metoclopramide and has requested and MRI and an Endoscopy...

Kimbo- that's great that you got a prescription right away and they are going to make sure it's nothing else. Those tests I would think are to look for signs of Crohn's in there. I take Omeprazole (Prilosec) to control my GERD.

Yea I am happy having chest pain again today but hoping the tablets start working soon just took my first one the doctor said it could be just acid reflux but just incase
