Hi
My name is Natasha. I have been reading this forum for a few years and have read a lot of sad stories and some stories with happy endings. Each time my heart went out to you – I felt sad or happy together with you. I just wish that all of us could become healthy and happy. I’ve often wanted to say a few nice words but was afraid to do so as my English is very bad (it is not my native language). I need some help and would very much appreciate it if somebody could help me.
For more than 10 years I have had a pain in the upper left side of my stomach and diarrhoea. I have had a lot of blood tests, an MRI scan, a colonoscopy and my diagnosis has been given as IBS. But I am feeling worse and worse.
Somebody here wrote that they had been diagnosed with Crohns through a biopsy whilst visually on scan it appeared OK.
So I asked the doctor to conduct a biopsy during a colonoscopy. The result was: Random colonic biopsies: Colonic mucosa with mild non-specific reactive changes.
Can anyone please explain what this means.
Thanks a lot.
