Crohns and court...what people will do sometimes

I had court a couple of days ago. Knowing my ex's plan I had reviously gotten a letter from my doctor stating I am not an idiot nor am I incapable of caring for my child. Well as I suspected as our attorneys were battling out why things aren't working his attorney turned right to the judge called me incopitent and asked for shared parenting to make decitions for my child when I am not capable. That was a low blow. Forunatly the judge either has crohns or knows someone who has crohns and she was offended at their tactics. She agreed that it doesn't make me stupid.

What a slimy way of doing things. Both my ex and his attorney have a very icky way of doing things...

What? That's despicable! Just shows that they had no case whatsoever and I'm glad the judge wasn't stupid enough to fall for such a thing.

Sounds lie a Judge who can think for themselves!!

Thanks guys. I've heard from several attorneys that the judge I got was very reasonable. I just hope it stays this way until our divorce trial.
