I would check with your Doc. Mine were always mucousy before remicade. Now normal on certain days. Everyones poos are different!!

I would mention it to your doctor as it could indicate inflammation. I get a lot of mucous due to rectal inflammation which will hopefully go when I start Humira soon.

I had lots of mucus when I was put off one anti-tnf and did not have any effect from any other medication. For me, it's a secure sign of inflammation, no matter what colour, btw. Some doctors are of the opinion that yellowish is normal, for me, it's not. Especially when there is mucus in a foamy consistency instead of normal stools.

I'm not comfortable sharing on this topic because I am a private person, but I'll try anyway. I was diagnosed in Jan. with Crohn's and all hell broke loose of all days on Fri., Mar. 13 with what began as 45 days in the hospital and 3 surguries. Now, I'm back to normal as much as can be expect. I wish I had better bms. One a good day, I go once; on a bad day, I go four or five. As long as I can get what goes in to come back out, I don't care. I did have a partial illeoectomy, the braking system for poop. My diet could probably improve, but I am doing the best that I can. My one weakness is Diet Mountain Dew. I drink 4-5 cans/day. It's my only vice.
