Delayed Ovulation?

I was wondering if anyone has experienced delayed ovulation due to active Crohn's or being on steroids. My disease has been active for quite some time now, despite being on Cimzia and Entocort. I started tracking my ovulation a few months back, and it seems to come about a week before my period...which is way too late to allow for implantation and successful pregnancy attempt.

Any thoughts?

I have. When I go into flare my period gets irregular. It happens.

Are your cycles always the same? I think if it is something that seems to be happening a lot to mention it to your GP and see if they will look into it a bit more for you.

I'm not sure- it's happened for at least two cycles, but I was pretty sick those months. Doctors aren't giving me any info at this point.

If it's only been a couple of months and you have been really sick it could be just sending it a bit out of whack. Hopefully when you start your new medication it will get things under control and in a better pattern.
