For the past week DS can go from almost no form BM to pebbles back to mush in the same day. next day rinse repeat.:confused2:

typically C is his problem - not sure if he is growing into his IBD or if he was so constipated old stuff is coming out in between the overly soft new stuff.

Also has had a need to "Run" for the bathroom ( this is new for him :eek2:)

so those playing the home game - blood sat , sun, and tonight ( less tonight) - with alternating
D and C within 8 hours. :ybatty:

anyone have alternating C and D within a normal daylight period ?

DS was like that for awhile. His GI said the C was because the stricture was clogging things up and then once it got through, it caused D. I'm not entirely sure I follow the logic of that, but then again, Crohn's isn't logical. But, yes, he'd have days where he was doing both. No blood here though.

We can be the same here, start the day with c and associated pain and then d by the end of the day. We have been told that Joseph has developed IBS as a result of being so bad during flare on diagnoses.

Hate not knowing what is what.... Thinking of you. X

Devynn used to be like that ALL the time before diagnosis! She could literally go between diarrheah, constipation, diarrheah, normal, constipation... in any order and back in forth in ONE sitting! She would get a cramp and run for the toilet, have diarrheah.. start straining and crying and she would be constipated.. then either more diarrheah or normal and back again. It was so strange and has gotten much better since being diagnosed and starting meds. I can't remember the last time she actually had a BM like that.

My son has had both C and D in one day. Even ended up in hospital on morphine due to extreme pain from constipation although he had had a BM the day before!!! No rhyme nor reason.

Devynn had bad diarrheah this morning, then soft... then at the doctor she had to go and felt like she was constipated! When we got home, she went again and said it was soft almost too soft. So weird!

Evan cycles between C and D and yes, he can pass what he calls deer poop :) in the morning and by late afternoon have soft/loose stool. It originally happened about twice a month but its been his steady daily cycle for weeks now and its been troublesome.

HE is holding his own- some stress going on so either that or the Iv steroids withdrawal added to the mix(hence the blood)
He had blood for a week then nothing for 7 days then blood again thursday/friday.
THe blood is minor so he is fine.GI tried to get pharmacy stuff for humira in hand this week with the idea of doing loading dose next week..

grr..... pharmacy called at 5:30 friday night- one dept did not convey all the info to the other dept so...we get to wait until monday or tuesday for shipment. IF we get the drug by next friday it will be a miracle.
DS was not DUE for a remicade infusion until the 29th of April but anything after 5 weeks was the rough spot for him. We were hoping to avoid it by getting the humira and started this week.:ymad:

hopefully once "LIFE" calms down so will his gut.

I hope so too mlp. Good luck with the Humira, such a bummer the pharmacy stuffed up. :voodoo:
