:poo: Hi all,

I put a thread on the other day, Im trying to get through today, I have got worse, pains in my op sight and across my tum, feel really sick, diorreah, I never seem to have a temp when Im like this just feel cold all the time. Trying to get through till tomorrow as I know my consultant is on in the morning, he told me to contact them if and when I get into any difficulty, I know people will say I should go to hosp, but that means explaining everything all over again to someone who doesnt know me. I try to be a bit tough on myself as I feel no-one understands it.

When we are well and so well I tend to forget what its like when I'm poorly.

Does anyone else feel like this ?

dont ignore this, phone an ambulance and get to A&E pronto, this happened to me 5 weeks ago, same symptoms as you, D&V, fever, like flu, terrible pain, and I nearly died of a ruptured bowel, just explain when you get there that you have Crohns and suspect an infection setting in, they will check your CRP levels to check, mine was very high in A&E - 261!
I ignored it for 2 days til I couldn't even stand up in the end, and phoned my GP, he phoned an ambulance straight away
Good luck hun xx

Hi ya. I'm sorry your not feeling too good at the mo. Life's not too good for me either right now - my body can't decide if to go all the way and flare or just leave me in suspended in antisipation!

I always get so cold when i'm feeling rough, it's like a coldness that comes from inside, so it doesn't matter how warm the room is, it doesm't seem to go away easily. I often sit on the loo wrapped in a blanket!

Is there a Gastro Dr on call at your hospital or a member of your consultant's team that would be able to help you if you go in? Leaving it may mean your flare gets worse and your recovery time takes longer - it mght be worth you giving the hospital a call or calling the out of hours service at your GP surgery.

Hang in there. I hope you feel better soon.

Hi.. I really do think you need to get check out ASAP I know its hard and you want to wait for your doc but like Astra said it could be an infection and if not treated straight away could get really really bad.

I too feel the way you do and swift too... I seem to go weeks being great nearly forgetting I even have crohns then bam out of no where I will wake up sick and like swift feel like Im suspended in antisipation waiting to see if it will pass in a couple of days or is it here for good!! Then I start to feel better again and wait for my next attack. I have no clue as to why this happens to me but its reassuring to know others to experience this.

Im sorry you are having a rough time but really do think bout getting checked out soon. Hope you start feeling better.
